Breakfast is often my most favourite meal of the day. Especially since I discovered Banana Soft Serve. Every night I think up new ways to dress my dessert breakfast. My usual blend of BSS, raw rolled oats and cacao nibs often beats out any other combinations, as it’s in a word – perfect.
Yesterday when grocery shopping, we picked up a few cans of crushed pineapple because they were on sale. I immediately decided to try and add pineapple to my breakfast!
I blended one frozen banana in a food processor with a splash of almond milk.
In a glass, layered 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, 2 tbsp rolled oats, the BSS and a tsp of cacao nibs.
This was delicious.
The pineapple completely overpowers the banana, which changes up the flavours.
I loved the different levels of crunch that this breakfast brought.
Every spoonful was like sipping on a tropical drink at the beach.
With absolutely no added sugar or preservatives.
A perfect way to kick off a full day of laundry and studying!
